A lil housekeeping on how to achieve the longest vase life of our arrangements;
~ Keep out of direct sun
~ Clean the vase, add fresh water every other day.
~ Most bouquets If properly cared for will have a vase life up to a week and some of the flowers in the arrangement may last longer.
As a courtesy, we will include a packet of flower food that will make 1 quart.
Or my homemade recipe using household items:
Per gallon~ 4 tsp. sugar ~ 8 tsp. lemon juice ~ 4 tsp. bleach
The sugar feeds, lemon juice balances the ph ~ bleach cleans the water.
Many flowers are called “dirty flowers” so the bleach cuts down on the yuk of these dirty flowers.
